Another Malayalam beauty makes Sandalwood debut

The film Srikanta was launched last year, with Shivarajkumar and Vijay Raghavendra in the lead. The film, directed by Manju Swaraj, sees Shivarajkumar shed the machete and play an average man, whose life transforms once he falls in love.
Now, America-bred Malayalam actress Chandini Sreedharan has been roped in to play the lead. “We’ve finished the first schedule of the film already. We’re going to commence on the second one soon,” Manju adds.Chandini, we hear, has a meaty role and the makers chose her because she has already impressed audience and critics with her Tamil and Malayalam films.
