AP Arjun retains Addhuri Lover as title, changes story for film with Viraat and Sanjana

Actors Viraat and Sanjana Anand were to team up for

Addhuri Lover

that was announced last year. The film was supposed to have a debutant director with filmmaker AP Arjun backing it. Now, a year later, the film appears to be on track again albeit with some changes. For starters, while the title remains, the story changes and Arjun will direct it for his banner.


"I will be directing the film. We have retained the title and the lead pair for this film. That is all that remains from the original plan for a project with the two. The story will still be a youthful tale, but will be completely different from what it was supposed to be," shares Arjun. Although the team had held a muhurtha last year, given that the script has changed, they had an event at a temple in Bengaluru on Thursday.
Arjun adds that one of the reasons the original story could not be followed was that it required major portions to be shot abroad and in the current atmosphere, with the pandemic still raging, heading out would have been difficult and, hence, the change in the plot. It will be interesting to see how Arjun and Viraat decide to regale the audience this time around, after their first outing - Kiss.
