Festivals and celebrities go hand in hand during festive times where celebrities show how they celebrate festivals in unique ways. Sandalwood stars
Ragini Dwivedi and
Rachana Inder have shown their concern for the environment and their love for Lord Ganesha by participating in a unique event.
A popular NGO organized a special program on the eve of the Ganesha Chaturthi festival where hundreds of Ganesha idols made of clay were made on the spot and distributed to children.
Ragini Dwivedi and Rachana also moulded clay Ganesha idols to launch the event. The local residents also felicitated the duo on the occasion.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, Ragini Dwivedi said, “Lord Ganesha is my favourite. I have enjoyed the Ganesha Chaturti festival all my life and can’t get enough of it. I am happy to be promoting clay Ganesha and it is nice to see the organisers giving it away to children. This will ensure that these children will grow up not only celebrating our tradition but also doing it in a befitting manner."
