As of now, no Kantara 2 plans: Rishab Shetty

Actor and producer Rishab Shetty has doused speculation over whether there will be a sequel to Kantara, saying: “As of now, we have no such plans. If there is any such plan of Kantara 2, we shall make an official announcement.”
The rumour mills started churning when a video of Rishab Shetty and his wife Pragathi attending a Bhootha Kola on the outskirts of Mangaluru went viral. “It was our way of thanking the daiva for making Kantara what it has become,” clarifies Rishab, adding, “My wife, the Kantara team and I had gone to Mangaluru to fulfil a harake (divine pledge). When the daiva stood in front of me, I was overcome by a myriad of feelings. The daiva’s subtle gestures, especially with the eyes, is inexplicable. I know what feeling blessed means. All that I did was to offer myself and the success of Kantara at the daiva’s feet and said ‘it’s all yours.”
