As promised, 'James' will release theatrically on the 17th of March 2022, and the team took to social media very recently to make the all-important announcement. KING ARRIVING ON MARCH 17-02-22 read the poster to reveal the pride and joy behind the announcement which was soon met with tremendous reception from all over.

The team of 'James' also shared a bunch of new stills from the film to show the Powerstar in his full glory. With the film being Puneeth Rajkumar's final outing as a leading man, a lot seemed at stake but the grand visuals do promise a spectacle brimming with action and drama. A bonafide commercial vehicle, 'James' will feature Puneeth Rajkumar is an intense avatar of an army officer and, reportedly, the actor performed all the stunts on his own.

Directed by Chethan Kumar of 'Bahaddur' fame, 'James' also stars Priya Anand, Anu Prabhakar, Meka Srikanth, and others with Kishore Pathikonda producing the film. Charan Raj scores the music.

Not very long ago, Shiva Rajkumar had stepped in to dub for Puneeth Rajkumar's character in the film and later spoke of the emotional baggage the endeavor carried for him. Both Shiva Rajkumar and younger brother Raghavendra Rajkumar will be seen making special appearances in the film to make this the very first film in history to feature all the three Rajkumar brothers, albeit not in a single frame.
