Ashika and Sharan all set to recreate Chuttu Chuttu magic

We had reported earlier that director Suni has roped in Sharan for his next, which a comedy, with another genre that is a mystery. The makers were on the hunt for a leading lady, and they have found her in Ashika Ranganath. Sharan and Ashika’s Raambo 2 was one of the hits of 2018.
We spoke to Ashika about the film, which is titled Avatar Purusha, and she said that what drew her to the film was the team.“I was getting a lot of offers, but I didn’t accept anything because after Raambo 2, I realised the importance of working in a film with a solid team. When I was approached for Avatar Purusha, I agreed to be onboard immediately after learning that it was being directed by Suni and produced by Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah. Of course, I am always happy to work with Sharan sir again,” says Ashika.
While she doesn’t reveal much about her role in Avatar Purusha, she says that the character is bold and her role will be different from what she essayed in Raambo 2.
Speaking about working with Sharan again, Ashika adds, “His onscreen and off-screen avatars are the same; he is equally jovial and fun when we are not shooting. I had told him during Raambo 2 that I wanted to work with him again and I am thrilled that I got that opportunity so soon,” says Ashika.
