Ashika Ranganath glams up for new film with Rambo 2 maker Anil Kumar

Ashika Ranganath has reunited with Rambo 2 director Anil Kumar. The actress is playing a

pivotal role

in the filmmaker’s next, Kaaneyadavare Bagge Prakatane and has already shot major portions in a

Bangkok

schedule. “Ashika has a glamourous role in the film and will be seen with a beer bottle throughout. The idea is that just because a girl dresses and behaves a certain way, it does not make her promiscuous, or ‘easy’ as society often dubs them,” explains Anil, adding that Ashika does not have a romantic interest in the film.
The in-production film has Rangayana Raghu, Tabla Nani and Ravi Shankar in the lead, as a bunch of senior citizens and Chikkanna in a major role.

Ashika's previous collaboration with Anil was the Sharan-starrer Rambo 2, which not only did well at the box office, but also had a few hit numbers, including the superhit Chuttu Chuttu.
