starrer has been gathering momentum and excitement each passing day, what with the new cast members coming onboard. The latest, we hear, is that Kirik Party actor

has been roped in to play a pivotal character in the film. Ashwin, of course, is thrilled to be a part of the project, as he gets to collaborate with Rakshit Shetty and

Pushkara

Mallikarjunaiah yet again. But that apart, what also drove the actor to take up the project was his admiration for the director’s earlier work, the Malayalam indie 0-41*. “Soon after, I met Senna at the Kirik Party screening, where he appreciated my work and asked if I would be a part of his Kannada film. At that point I did not know what kind of role he would offer me, but I was excited to work with him. I did not hear from him thereafter, until a couple of months ago, when he broached the subject again; this time explaining that he wanted me as one of the lead actors, along with Diganth,”says Ashwin, who will soon be seen in Kaleej Kumar and is currently also shooting for Cafe Garage. “We go on floors for Senna's film in mid November,” Ashwin sings off.
