Bhojpuri film industry is becoming my second home, says Meghashree

film industry like a duck to water. She’s signed her third film,

Gobardhan

, in which she is paired alongside Dinesh

Lal Yadav

. The movie, shot extensively in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, is helmed by Manjul Thakur.

An elated Meghashree says, “The Bhojpuri industry is becoming my second home. In a very short span, I have completed shooting for three Bhojpuri films, Rowdy Inspector, Aparadhi and now, Gobardhan, which I never expected. All three subjects are very different, portraying me in varied looks.”
Speaking about her role in Gobardhan, the actress states, “I am an educated girl who gets married to a villager. My husband loves cows more than his wife, which leads to a conflict between the two. Perturbed by this, she uses various tricks to win his heart. The movie also brings to the fore the benefits of cow dung, its medicinal values for human beings and how it can be turned into a money-making business which is a first in the Indian cinema industry.”
