Buckaasuura marks the debut of TV actress Kavya Gowda, has Crazy Star V Ravichandran taking on a role with negative shades, and launches Rohitt as a solo lead. “Ravi sir as a cigar-chomping antagonist will be a surprise package. We also have Makarand Deshpande, Shashi Kumar, Sithara and Sadhu Kokila, among others, in pivotal roles,” he adds.

One reason that makes Buckaasuura a must watch this week, says Rohitt, is that it is a very realistic film that audiences can relate to, while also slipping in a subtle message for society. “Is the pursuit of money and the belief that it is the end all for happiness in life true? You’ve got to see the film to see what happens,” Rohitt signs off.
