fire
in the wee hours of
Saturday
morning, while he was away on a work commitment. The cricketer-actor, who was on his way to Varanasi and is now returning to
Kerala, is glad that no one was hurt in the mishap, and has shifted his wife and children to a hotel.
Speaking to us, Sreesanth said, “Fire broke out around 2 am in the night. Luckily, my wife was working on the computer and spotted it early enough. My neighbours alerted authorities. By god’s grace, my wife and kids are safe and have now been moved to a hotel. The entire guest room and hall has been destroyed. There are cameras installed everywhere in the house, so, we are hopeful of finding out what went wrong.”
Sreesanth added that he will be with his family for some time. “I will need time to get the house back in order, and figure out what caused the blaze. Since the house was insured, we have been advised not to touch anything until the source of the fire is found out,” he said.
