film starring Puneeth Rajkumar, will be the Sandalwood debut of Kollywood director M Saravanan, and is loosely based on his Tamil film Ivan Veramaathiri. As the film, produced by Sunshine Creations, releases today, the director gives us six reasons that make the film a must-watch for Kannada audiences.

1) A unique storyline
Almost 80% of the film's plot has been changed from its Tamil version, and does not bear any resemblance to any film made so far. The screenplay and storyline are unique, and has not taken inspiration from any other film. The film, especially the climax, he says, will leave viewers talking about it long after the end credits.

2) A new role for Puneeth Rajkumar
While the director had seen only a few of the actor's films before signing him for the film, he later made it a point to see almost all his films. After seeing them, he assures that the role that Puneeth plays in Chakravyuha is unlike any of the roles he has played so far, and that his fans will be in for a pleasant surprise.

3) A lesson on doing good for society
Saravanan says that Chakravyuha portrays how youngsters must react and behave for the betterment of society. It's very common to speak of society at large as a third person, without realizing that we are all part of that very same society. In the film, the hero shows how to take the initiative if we wish to solve problems that surround us, without taking the law into our hands.

4) Asking the right questions
A character named Sitara adds a lot of zest to the film. Although she appears only for a short period in the film, she ends up asking all the burning questions about issues that plague our society - questions that each and every one of us can relate to.

5) Equal importance to hero and villain
Unlike most movies, the director claims that the villain, played by Kollywood actor Arun Vijay, will be able to hold his own till the very end, leaving audiences guessing as to which direction the movie is headed. Even at times when the villain loses physically, his character ends up winning.

6) Pivotal role for heroine
Saravanan says that in most action movies, the heroine is only given a small role that usually adds glamour to the story. But in Chakravyuha, Rachita Ram, the heroine, plays a pivotal role that will have a strong impact on the storyline.
