Chiranjeevi’s next is an out-and-out commercial movie

This April 26, Chiranjeevi Sarja will commence work on his next film, which will see him team up with director Shiva Tejass of

Dhairyam

and

Male

fame. “I’ve somehow been doing a lot of films that aren’t mainstream commercial potboilers, but have instead been working on films that are a little experimental or different in their treatment. This is where I felt that I had to do a subject that would be more commercial, with a few good songs, lots of action, emotional scenes, dance and comedy. This film by Shiva has proved to be just that right one,” says Chiranjeevi.
The actor also adds that there was another reason for choosing the film. “Shivarjun, who is backing this film, has been closely associated with our family for over three decades. So, doing this film when he asked us was also a way to show our gratitude,” says Chiranjeevi. The film, which is yet to be titled, has Amrutha Iyengar as one of the heroines, while the other is a newbie from Mumbai.
