Director Vijayaprasad shared stills of Dhananjaya doing the voice-over for his character in the movie. He is now making preparations to release the trailer prior to announcing the movie release date. The director was hopeful of releasing the movie in March, but plans got derailed as cinema halls were shut down due to the surge in Covid cases in the second wave. Totapuri, which was shot extensively in and around Mysuru, will be released in two parts.

Dhanajaya

will be seen in the role of a young businessman in the movie. He had shot in Mysuru for his portions. The actor is gearing up for two releases -

Badava Rascal

and

Salaga

- which see him in the role of a cop. Salaga and Badava Rascal are hitting screens on August 20 and September 24. He will also be seen in an antagonist's role in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, which is one of the most expected projects of this year, in South Indian cinema.
