Dhruva Sarja set to enthral in a college-based commercial thriller

Dhruva Sarja, who had a pandemic release with

, is set to begin work on his next. And he promises he won't make his fans wait this time around. The film sees him reunite with AP Arjun, with whom he made his film debut and the film is being backed by

Uday Mehta

.

"The film is titled

Martin

. It's a commercial action thriller, set against the backdrop of a college. It has equal doses of both love and war. I am thrilled to reunite with AP Arjun after nine years. I know that there are a lot of expectations and therefore, the responsibility doubles up, more for Arjun than me," shares Dhruva.

Furthermore, Dhruva adds, "Since we are working together after

, we owe it to the audience that we give them a film that is better than our first. This is why we have a film that has a love story and a suspense thriller along with. It is going to be something that is different from our first hit."

For this film, Dhruva will be sporting a chiselled physique. "It is going to be a different film in the treatment too. We will not have many dialogues. We have shot with Raam Laxman for a first look teaser which we plan to reveal today as well." As for the date of the reveal, he shares, "I am thrilled that we are launching it on our Independence Day. It is also the birth anniversary of

Sangolli Rayanna

. And it also happens to be the birthday of my uncle Arjun Sarja, and also Raghanna Appaji (Raghavendra Rajkumar)."



The film will be wrapped up within four months, he adds. "We have set ourselves a quick shoot deadline. We hope to complete the film by December 20 and I plan to begin work on my next right after that. We plan to shoot the film within these four months in back-to-back schedules. This is something that I want to reiterate to fans that we will give them a film quickly," reveals Dhruva.
