Dia fame Kushee Ravi to time travel in sci-fi short film

Dia girl Kushee Ravi takes a sci-fi leap with her next project, a

short film

that will see the actress travelling back from the 2050s to the 1980s. "It is a unique storyline based on the concept of

time travel

and it has even has me trying on an Elizabethan-era dress, wherein I will be seen looking like a queen with a big hat and a nice gown," says Kushee.

Directed by Manoj Kumar, the film will have Kushee in the role of an

astronomer

who wants to meet her favourite astronomer. "It is about time travel from 2050 to 1980, from an age of immense technological advancement to when people had no idea about even mobile phones. In a bid to impress my favourite astronomer, I dress up in that outfit," she says. The plot and her role were reason enough for Dia to agree to be a part of the short film. "I was okay with it being a short film and once I heard the story, I knew that I absolutely had to be a part of it," says the actress, adding that she will shoot for it once the lockdown is lifted and filming activities are allowed again.
