Director Mansore files counter plea after dowry harassment case, says his wife is mentally ill

Hours after filmmaker Mansore’s wife accused him of dowry harassment and filed a complaint, the director submitted a counter plea, claiming that his wife was mentally ill. He also accused her brothers of using her to blackmail him. Mansore also alleged that his wife wanted his mother out of their house and that she harassed his mother mentally and physically. He also submitted that she had attempted suicide to end her life and was counselled for her condition. Meanwhile, a police officer from Subramanyapura police station, where Akhila has filed an FIR, said Mansore would be served a notice of appearance.
