Pallavi organised a special get-together for their friends and family. The couple completed 25 years of marriage earlier in the week and decided to have a gala party, replete with music, dance, singing and great company. The who’s who of the
Kannada
industry was present, including
Bharathi Vishnuvardhan,
Sumalatha Ambareesh
, Sudharani,
Rockline Venkatesh, Ramesh Aravind and
Prem, along with a host of singers, musicians and lyricists.
There were surprises galore too, which included childhood friends of the couple flying down from different countries to friends taking the stage and singing special song dedications to the couple.
Dressed in Indian finery, Pallavi and Gurukiran looked every bit the bride and groom, even though it has been 25 years since their special day. “We sat together and curated a list of people who have been special to us along our journey and we wanted all of them to be present with us and shower their love,” said Pallavi as the couple cut the cake, surrounded by their loved ones.
