Ankita Amar is a huge fan of music and a singer herself. And now, she’s about to take another artistic route in a campus romance drama, backed by
Rakshit Shetty, where she will play a poet.
Ankita’s character in the film is inspired by all things vintage and she loves anything that has an old-world feel. She’s a poet who loves writing lines even if it’s to herself and her first look has been designed to convey the dreamy nature of her character. The as-of-now untitled flick will be announced later in June and sources say it will ve directed by Rakshit’s long-time writer and team member,
Chandrajit Belliappa
, who will be marking his debut with this film.
An elated Ankita shares that her character is so relatable to who she is off screen. “Just like her, I’m someone who lives a lot in my memories. There is not a day that goes by where I don’t reminisce about my childhood days and feel happy about it. My character is extremely warm and loves exuding that warmth to those around her. I’m like that too. I hold all of this close to me and I’m sure this will reflect on screen when I play it,” wraps up Ankita who is happy to continue her association with poetry on screen.
