Actor Kiran Raj has got a makeover of sorts for his new project, Sherr, which sees him in an complete action avatar for the first time in his career. The shoot of the project will commence in Mysuru. It is being directed by PraSiddh and has Surekha as a female lead.
Speaking to us, Kiran says, “I don’t want to get pigeonholed by playing the same type of characters again and again. Audiences are intelligent, which is why I choose roles that will appeal to them. Moreover, as an actor, when you do challenging roles, it feeds to your soul.”
Talking about his character, Kiran reveals, “I play a guy who works in a local market, who doesn’t care about anyone. It’s not only my look, even my mannerisms and language dialect will strike a chorrd with the mass audience. There are many fights in the movie. I am also doing gymnastics and martial arts to get some kicks right, since we are introducing new styles of fights which have not beentried before.”
Kiran also has Megha with Kaajal Kunder. “It has a beautiful, innocent love story. The narrative of the movie is like Arjun Reddy, but not the characters. We have completed major portions of shooting, and only some parts are left,” he sums up.
