Buoyed by the love being bestowed by Indian film fans on South Indian films like RRR,

Pushpa
, there’s another pan-Indian film taking off. This as-yet-untitled project will be helmed by maverick filmmaker and actor Upendra, who has given fans 10 varied films that they all cherish.
Upendra's filmmaking has been appreciated by the likes of SS
Rajamouli
and
Shankar, and this has led to
KP Sreekanth
and
G Manoharan backing this film.
Upendra shares, “I look forward to this exciting collaboration. I am sure the entire Indian audience would love this thought-provoking cinematic experience. It is the fans who created the story called Upendra, it is the fans who wrote the screenplay and dialogues for 33 years, it is through their whistles and claps that I have always directed. I dedicate this film to praja prabhu, the Indian film fan.”
The details of this film will be revealed on June 3, when the team has the official muhurtha at a temple in Bengaluru. The team is currently busy with a look test photoshoot for the same film in Hyderabad.
