is elated to have the veteran actors on board. “They are both very spontaneous, which makes them great actors; the longevity of their careers is a testimony to that. I am happy that I get to direct them together on the big screen. Their characters will generate a lot of laughs, and having them star together in the movie is a big plus point for us," Vijay says.

The roles that the veteran actors play
The director reveals the roles of Ali and Brahmanandam in the film.

1) Ali plays a

Telugu

man who runs a small shop and has settled in a village in Karnataka. He speaks in Kannada with a Telugu influence. His portions with

Manju Pavagada

will tickle everyone's funny bone.

2) Brahmanandam is a drama teacher in the college at a time when students are fighting to act in a mythological play to be performed on the annual day. He goes to college because a professor wants him to solve the crisis, which he does amicably. His conversations with students and how he gets along with them despite the generation gap is what makes his role interesting.
