Family shifts Sharmiela Mandre to another multi-specialty hospital in Bangalore against medical advice

Kannada actress Sharmiela Mandre who was in a car accident on Saturday morning, was immediately admitted to a nearby hospital. On suspicions of the actress and her friend being under the influence of alcohol, a

medico-legal case

was registered and sent to the High Ground Traffic Police. The police have already filed a suo motto case against Sharmiela Mandre. Meanwhile, as per latest reports, the actress who was undergoing treatment at a hospital near Vasanthnagar, was shifted to another hospital in Bangalore on her family doctor’s advice but against medical advice of the doctors treating her at the previous hospital.

Sharmiela Mandre who stepped out in her car around 3 am along with a friend, met with an accident in the Vasanthnagar area in Bangalore and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. The actress was undergoing treatment there but her family shifted her to another hospital against medical advice. The police were not informed about this and so when they reached the first hospital for taking Sharmiela’s statement, they were taken aback.

According to sources, Sharmiela Mandre reportedly told the doctor that she will be taking treatment from a family doctor, before taking Discharging Against Medical Advice from the first hospital. As per reports, a case under section 279, 337 IPC and 134 (B) of the Motor Vehicle Act has been registered against the actress and the police is investigating it. Another case under section 188, 270, 269 IPC has been reportedly registered as well for violation of the

lockdown

order. Meanwhile, the vehicle has been seized by the cops.
