Filmfare Awards: Puneeth bags his third, Parul gets her first

On a glitzy night, fans of Puneeth Rajkumar had big reason to cheer as the actor won his third Filmfare Award for the Best Actor (Male). Puneeth was given the trophy for his performance in Ranavikrama. The actor had earlier taken home the Best Actor award in 2007 for Arasu, and in 2012 for Hudugaru.

Parul Yadav was thrilled as she received her first Best Actor (Female) award. The actress was nominated as the Best Supporting Actor (Female) for the 2013 film Bachchan, but won her maiden award tonight for the Best Actor (Female) for her performance in Aatagara.
