Finally a film for the children

It was after a long wait that a children’s film was released in Kannada. The audiences, who were starved for some content for the younger ones were in for a treat this week as Nava Gelaryaru released.
The film, by director-producer GK Mudduraj, Naavu Gelayaru, is based on nomadic children and the importance of education for them. How these nomadic children deleop an interest in education and how they bond with each other is what has been shown in the film.The film has close to 20 children artists portraying various roles, they include – Praful, Prithvi, Thejas, Anil, Kiran, Rohit, Chandra, Ninasam Ashwath, Krishne Gowda, Meghana, Ajnanappa, Maruthiraj, Govinda Rao, Apoorva among others.
The music for the film has been scored by V Manohar while Ram Narayan has written the lyrics. It will be interesting to see how the audiences react to the film which has added something to the children’s gallery after a long time.
