Fitness trainer Charith, who has a starry clientele, has silently been preparing for his launch as a hero. He’s now ready to commence his first film — a sports drama incidentally titled
Charith — that is based on equestrian. Charith says, “I have been fascinated with horses right from my school days. I hail from Mysuru and used to come to Bengaluru to work with horses, compete in events related to them and more.
It was there that the idea of a film that revolved around horses took shape. We have since fine tuned the film to make it revolve around equestrian, as it is a sport that intrigues me.”
The film is being directed by AR Krishna, who makes his debut as filmmaker and has previously worked as a co-director for a film titled
Atharva. The youngster reveals that he has been preparing for nearly five years for the role. “Equestrian is not just horse riding. One needs to also know how to make them jump. It requires a lot of skill and tact. I’ve spent a couple of years learning that. I’ve also learnt acting at Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar’s school and have been working on my fitness, dancing skills and other necessities,” he reveals.
Charith also discloses that he has worked as a background dancer in a few films and has played a character in
Bicchugatthi: Chapter 1. “We are looking at kickstarting the film sometime towards the end of January or early February.
Srujan Lokesh sir will be revealing our poster,” he adds.
