From ‘Natasarvabhouma’ to ‘Rustum’: Most anticipated movies in 2019

Sandalwood industry came up with some fine set of films to enthral their audience in the year gone by. While films like In ‘KGF’, ‘Tagaru’, ‘Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai’, and others impressed the critics and the audience, many superstars like Puneeth Rajkumar, Darshan, and Upendra didn't release a single movie in 2018. However, they are all set to make up for it this year with a line-up of films waiting to amaze the viewers. Let's take a look at the most anticipated movies in 2019.

Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar starrer 'Natasarvabhouma' is one of the most anticipated movies of 2019. The movie is all set to release this month and will the first release of the actor this year. After ‘Rana Vikrama’ director Pawan Wadeyar and Puneeth Rajkumar have come together for another successful venture.

‘Natasarvabhouma’ is a complete family entertainer. The first look and teaser have already created a huge buzz in Sandalwood and audience are waiting to see the movie on big screen.

Last year, Darshan, who did not release a single movie, is ready with two movies this year. He has already completed the shooting of ‘Yajamana’ and ‘Kurukshetra’ is now ready to release. These two films are coming this year. The actor will also be seen in ‘Hodeya’ which is currently underway shooting. All in all, it is touted to be a big year for Darshan.

Sudeep's long-awaited movie ‘Pailwan’ is one of the biggest movies of this year. The shooting of 'Kotigobba 3' is being carried on done along with 'Pailwan'. The shooting of both the movies is expected to be wrapped up soon. The movie ‘Pailwan’ will reportedly release in eight other languages.

Shivarajkumar has entered the New Year on a positive note with two films - ‘Kavacha’ and ‘Rustum’ in the kitty. The shooting of the films is underway at a brisk pace. ‘Kavacha’ is likely to release in the month of January, while ‘Rustum’ will be releasing later part of the year. The actor also has films like 'Anand' and 'Drona' in his pipeline.

Upendra is ready to impress his audience with his upcoming film 'I Love You'. The first look and teaser of the film have already created a huge sensation in Sandalwood. The film was supposed to release by the end of last year, but due reasons unknown, the movie will be released this year. Rakshith Shetty has been away from the silver screen from past two years without a single release. However, this year, he is all set to impress his audience with ‘Avane Srimannarayana’ and ‘777 Charlie’.

‘Avane Srimannarayana’ has almost completed its shooting and will be releasing soon. The first look and the teaser of the film were well received by the audience. ‘777 Charlie’, on the other hand, is currently in the process of shooting and it is likely to release by the end of the year.
