Time and again Sandalwood films have turned inspiration for artists and this time it was
Kichcha Sudeep
's upcoming film Vikrant Rona which did the trick. City artist who is also an avid fan of
Sudeep gave a unique twist to his
Ganesh idol. Taking inspiration from the Vikrant Rona poster which created quite a buzz online,
Yashwanth M
, created an idol which resembled the poster an just like the poster which has Sudeep sitting in a massive seat, the idol seems to find a similar seating. Interestingly, just like Sudeep is holding a gun, the idol lets go of the traditional modak and replaces it with a gun as well.
Speaking to Bangalore Times, young Yashwanth says, "I am huge Sudeep sir fan and am waiting for the film Vikrant Rona to release soon. Hence I took inspiration from the film's poster and got to work." He also added that making the idol took him some two months. "For drying and painting it took me two months to finish the idol. In fact, the finished product has been appreciated by Sudeep sir's fans who have also ordered for the similar idol," he informs.
Meanwhile, director Anup Bhandari, released the Deadman’s Anthem on the actor’s birthday and the video turned to be quite a visual treat for movie buffs. The film is now in the post-production stages, also stars
Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok, and
Jacqueline Fernandez in prominent roles.
