Girish Kasaravalli's son, Apurva, pens heartfelt note to thank everyone who has ever inspired him

Veteran director Girish Kasaravalli’s son Apurva Kasaravalli, who made his debut as a filmmaker with the Kannada film Niruttara, is Bollywood bound with his next, Winter Bridge, a film set during the 1962 Indo-China war. The motion poster of the film, which has Aryann Santhosh in the lead, was unveiled today. But ahead of the motion poster launch, the filmmaker took to social media to pay tribute to everyone who has played a role in shaping him as human being and filmmaker. "As we take this very important step today, I want to thank all the people who have played a major role in shaping me as a human being and as a filmmaker. Vaishali Kasaravalli : My mother, the One who guided, moulded and shaped me, the person I am today is because of her. Girish Kasaravalli: my father. the reason I am a filmmaker, and in whose footsteps I want to follow and one day hopefully achieve atleast 10% of what he has accomplished.
