“The idea was to be as natural as possible, with no fancy hairdos and minimal makeup. The idea was to make me look the part — a cop, Vaidehi, on the job, investigating a case with the narrative exploring how she goes about it. Also, even though she is a cop, there are no bombastic

sequences,” says Hariprriya, who begins shooting for the second schedule of the film today.
