I almost deleted the red ant chutney making video from my page because of the comments, says Kishen Bilagali

Hailing from Malnad region, dancer, former Bigg Boss contestant and actor Kishen Bilagali tried his hand at making red ant chutney also known as Chagali Iruve chutney, which is known to go well with dosas and akki roti. He uploaded a video of the process on his social media page, only to be shocked by the responses to the idea of cooking red ants. “There were so many negative comments that at one point that I almost deleted the video,” he tells us. However, he decided not to as the page opened up to a debate of sorts on the health benefits and the reason why red ants are an ingredient in Malnad cuisine. Here’s a look.
