I was bowled over by the story of Love You Rachchu: Rachita Ram

Actress Rachita Ram plays the titular character in the upcoming film Love You Rachchu. The film, directed by Shankar S Raj, has her paired opposite Ajai Rao for the first time. She says she always wanted to work with Ajai and was looking for the right script for the same.

"Ajai chooses scripts that are family oriented and very real in the making. His combination with filmmaker Shashank is something that everyone loves.This film is once again scripted by Shashank. I was bowled over by the story when I heard the narration. I always listen to a script as an audience member and not as a heroine. This story was convincing and I liked it thoroughly. Here, I had a chance to work with Ajai for a story written by Shashank where Guru Deshpande would be producing it. So, it was perfect," she says. "The story is extremely emotional. The songs from the film are beautiful and have already caught the fancy of people," she adds.

The actress has a role that Guru calls the soul of the story. Guru shares, "Just like how Radhika Pandit had a role that was so good in Krishnan Love Story, Rachita's role in Love You Rachchu is equally prominent. The film deals with a newly married couple and how their life takes a turn following one incident. Rachita has done a fantastic job and this is going to be a film that audiences will remember her by for a long time."
