But the response from the audience has been so encouraging that some of the main theatres have decided against taking up new film releases as the collections on Mugulu Nage have been impressive.”
As for a personal take away, Manju feels that the underlying message in the film is what has worked wonders. “People fall in love and when that does not work out, they often become so dejected that they become modern versions of Devdas. This film teaches you to get away from old thoughts and move on with life,” he says.
When it comes to deciding whether to watch a movie or not, audiences take the opinion of those close to them. This word of mouth publicity has worked well for Mugulu Nage.
