'JC The University' OTT release: Where to stream Surya Prakhyath's Kannada crime thriller

The Kannada action thriller 'JC The University' hit the big screens on February 6 this year and it had received decent reviews from the audiences. The movie had Surya Prakhyath in the lead and the latest updates say that the action thriller has started streaming on OTT.

The film directed by Chethan Jayram is streaming on Sun NXT. The platform recently shared an update along with a teaser and wrote, "Raw revenge is served now on Sun NXT! The narrative follows Madhusudan, also known as Maddy, a final-year college student from a middle-class family. His life changes dramatically after a stalker incident involving his girlfriend Meghana. An unintended clash with a feared gang leader named Raaka pulls him into the underworld.



Surya Prakhyath leads the film as Maddy while Bhavana Reddy plays Meghana. Rangayana Raghu and Swathi portray his supportive parents. Thriller Manju appears in a key supporting role.

ETimes review for the film reads, "Performances are consistently strong. Surya Prakhyath fits the role well, and for only his second film, he shows promise as a mass-appeal lead. Rangayana Raghu once again proves why he is one of the finest actors, delivering a standout performance as the conflicted yet principled father."

Our review adds, "Dialogues shine in key moments, music and songs complement the narrative, and the cinematography enhances both the college and underworld settings effectively.
