Releasing in cinema halls across Karnataka today, is Kannada film Kaatera, starring Darshan Thoogudeepa and Aradhanaa Ram. Directed by Tharun Kishore Sudhir, the movie is made under the banner of Rockline Entertainments Pvt Ltd.
“The film is about farmers, and it is based on true incidents from the 1970s. It delves into the time when former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi gave a new lease of life to farmers who were in distress,” says producer Rockline Venkatesh.
As for the cast, he says, “Darshan is a farmer whose character connects with everyone. Aradhanaa has done a fantastic job in her debut film. Tharun has presented the story effectively, and the music by V Harikrishna has already gained attention. The aesthetic visions have been captured by cinematographer Sudhakar." He then signs off with an appeal, "I hope people will come to cinema halls to watch the movie to help the Kannada film industry prosper, without indulging in piracy.”
