On the heels of pan-Indian film Kabzaa’s release, director and producer R Chandru has confirmed that Kabzaa 2 will be rolled out soon and preparations for the second instalment are already underway. Kabzaa, based on the underworld and set in the pre-Independence period, stars Upendra, Shriya Saran, Kichcha Sudeep and Shivarajkumar.
Sharing details, Chandru of Sri Siddeshwara Enterprises states, “I will take a short break and concentrate on Kabzaa 2. Work on the script has started. I can promise that it will be bigger and better.”
Elated with the box office collection of Kabzaa, he tells us, “Its humongous success across the world has exceeded my expectations. Within the first week, Kabzaa raked in a record collection. The credit must go to the entire team and I am indebted to Upendra. Without him, it would have been impossible.”
