Doctor-turned-actor Praveen Kumar, who had an impressive debut with Love 360, has completed shooting for his second project, Desai, helmed by Naagi Reddy. The newbie also has a psychological thriller in the pipeline which will take off sometime next year. He tells us, “I come from a family of medicos who have always wanted me to complete my studies before I pursue my passion, which is cinema. I am currently doing a one-month internship and once it’s done, my complete focus will be on films.” Talking about parallels between medicine and cinema, he says, “The one common factor I found is the need to understand the intricate details of the industry to excel in both the fields.”
