Rishab Shetty directed and headlined 'Kantara: Chapter 1', has been receiving accolades from fans and celebrities. Among the many applauding the film, veteran actor Anupam Kher and his family recently shared a warm and heartfelt message after watching the movie.

In a video recorded by the Kher family, the actor expressed how deeply impressed they were with the film. Alongside his family members, Anupam Kher conveyed that the movie left them "speechless" and admired both the story and the execution.

The production house behind Rishab Shetty's film responded to the video. They reshared the video on their X handle and wrote, "Our hearts are full. So glad you and your family loved Kantara: Chapter 1. Your kind words mean a lot to us."

About 'Kantara: Chapter 1'

Speaking about the film, 'Kantara: Chapter 1' is the prequel to his 2022 blockbuster, 'Kantara'. The movie goes into the past and shows the rich traditions of Tulunadu, exploring the origins of Daiva worship and the struggle of the tribal community under the machinations of the Kadamba dynasty in the fourth century.

Rishab Shetty plays the role of Berme, a tribal warrior raised by the Kantara tribe that lives in harmony with nature and worships the guardian spirits Panjurli and Guliga. The plot thickens when King Vijayendra's son, Kulashekara, played by Gulshan Devaiah, recklessly enters the Kantara forest, which leads to a conflict between the royal army and the tribe.

The movie also features Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, Rakesh Poojari, Hariprashanth MG, Deepak Rai Panaje, Shaneel Gautham, and Naveen Bondel.

The music is composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath.
