'Kantara' Hindi box office collection day 9: Rishab Shetty starrer to cross Rs 15 crores soon

Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara' has gone on to become a huge hit in both Kannada and Hindi. The film continues to dominate despite facing competition on the festive weekend. Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara' was released in theatres on September 30. Celebs and fans have been all praise for the film's cast, crew, and storyline. The Hindi version of 'Kantara' was released on October 14. 'Kantara' has been lauded by critics and fans alike. Very soon 'Kantara' in Hindi might soon cross Rs 15 crore at the box office anytime. Despite competition from 'Monster', 'Sardar' and 'Prince', the film is expected to have a longer run time in theatres.

'Kantara's box office journey has been rather interesting. The film opened to Rs 1.27 crore on Day 1 in the Hindi market. The film's second-day collection was Rs 2.75 crore and Rs 3.5 crore net in the third. Despite the reduction in ticket rates, the film saw an outstanding jump of 40-50% on its opening Monday with Rs 1.75 crore in the Hindi market, Rs 1.88 crore on Tuesday, and Rs 1.95 crore on Wednesday. The film registered a steady growth with a collection of Rs 1.90 crore in the Hindi market on Thursday, which just jumped on to Rs 2.05 crore in the Hindi Market on Friday (Oct 21).

'Kantara' is an action-thriller that celebrates the traditional culture of Kambla and Bhootha Kola. It features Rishab in the lead role. Many have described this as the finest film of his career. Kantara's cast includes Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, and Pramod Shetty. 'Kantara', which translates to the mystical forest, tells the story of a local demigod (Bhoota) who trades forest land to the tribe's people with a king in 1870 in exchange for happiness. Many years later, when the king’s son grows greedy and wants the land back, he dies due to the wrath of Bhootha.
