Having begun her career on the small screen with serial Nannarasi Radhe, Kaustubha Mani is off to a rollicking start in Sandalwood. She’s signed up for her second film, 45, which is music composer Arjun Janya’s directorial debut, with Shivarajkumar, Raj B Shetty and Upendra in lead roles.
On how she landed the multi-starrer, Kaustubha shares, “The makers had announced an audition for female characters. Impressed by my pictures, they called for a look test. I got goosebumps and was over the moon as soon as I got a call that I had been selected. Not many newcomers get a chance to work with stalwarts in the industry. I feel lucky and blessed. It will be a great learning curve and I am looking forward to working with all of them.”
Kaustubha, who plays a bubbly girl in the film that has plenty of emotional elements, is now only focusing on films. “I am looking for roles which will satisfy me,” she wraps up.
