When
Karthik Gowda, creative executive producer of Hombale Films recently took to his social media page reporting his concern and anger over a Telugu channel telecasting
KGF illegally, little did he know that his fans would give him more details about the issue. "A telugu local channel named #Every^ is playing KGF film illegally. We will move legally against them and sue for their actions.
While the satellite deal is on talks and almost finalised, a cable channel does this. We have ample proof with screen shots, videos of the same." posted Karthik along with the screenshot of the film.
As soon as he posted the picture, comments started pouring in. "Yes Sir I Already Told With You
Many Times I watched In My Local Tv Channel
Waiting For Telugu Version TV Premiere Sir Red heart
#KGFChapter2
@TheNameIsYash" posted a fan.
Another fan commented, "Movie release agi 1.5yrs agide neev innu talks Alle iri. Telugu audience keltane idare movie na , nim negligence indane idu agiddu." The comments continued. "Sir many times local channels hav telecasted it Face with raised eyebrow u should hav spoken at that time too #kgf #KGFChapter2 (sic)," read another comment.
The downpour of such comments certainly took Karthik by surprise who added that he had no idea about this until recently.
According to reports KGF is the first Kannada movie to make Rs 200 crore worldwide and to make Rs 100 crore in Karnataka alone. Apart from its original Kannada version, KGF: Chapter 1 has also been released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages.
