Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep recently attended the SIIMA awards in Dubai on September 14. A video is getting viral on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) where during the event the actor is correcting a man on stage.

In the video shared on a fan page of Kichcha Sudeep, he is seen correcting a man who is reportedly from Hyderabad mispronouncing "Kannad" and Sudeep corrects him that it is 'Kannada'. The actor said, "I understand when Mumbai people say Kannad. But, you being a Hyderabadi saying Kannad is not okay."

The anchor then apologised and said, "Kannada. Sorry." and the 'Vikrant Rona' replied, "Kannada Thank You".

The fan praised Kichcha for correcting the man as along with the video their post read, "PRIDE OF KANNADA CINEMA It’s not kannad ,, it’s KANNADA Boss on Fire mode @#SIIMA2024"

According to reports he attended the event to celebrate the CCL (Celebrity Cricket League).

On the work front, he has multiple projects under his pipeline. He will be seen in the highly anticipated 'Max' directed by Vijay Kartikeyaa. The makers shared the teaser of the film in July 2024. The teaser portrayed the actor in an intense style, where the teaser opened with Kichcha's character narrating the nursery rhyme "Baba Baba Black Sheep" in a dark setting. It suggests that he is seeking vengeance against the ones who wronged him. Makers are yet to release the other details of the film and the release date. The movie will be released in multiple languages.

Furthermore, he will be seen in 'Billa Ranga Baashaa', an adventure thriller directed by Anup Bhandari.
