Director and actor
M G Srinivas
is currently shooting for the romantic comedy Old Monk. Three film will see him in the role of a bachelor who loves to gossip and eventually falls in love. His character is based on the mythological character Narada. On #QuickTakesWithBangaloreTimes he talks about his five favourite actors...
Balakrishna
: He is one of the greatest actors that Sandalwood has produced. The reason I like him the most, is that despite being partially deaf, he used to read lip movements and deliver dialogues instantly, which is vital to create a laugh riot.
Lokesh: He has played serious, comedy and supporting actor roles. We have seen him portraying two characters which are polar opposites in Bootayyana Maga Ayyu and Aasegobba Meesegobba. We all appreciate actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Lokesh stands in the same league.
Vajramuni: He is rightly called as
Natabayankara
. Vajramuni had that aura that he could pull off any roles effortlessly which we have seen in movies like Babruvahana, where he has played a soft charater. In the later part of his career he was known for baddie and grandfather type of roles.
Sundar Krishna Urs
It is his voice that makes him a different actor. When I was working as an RJ, we used to imitate his voice.
M P Shankar, Thoogudeepa Srinivas: I love Thoogudeepa Srinivas' acting in
Anjanda Gandu
and Mayura and even
M P Shankar
has shown variety in his roles in films like
Gandadha Gudi
and
Narada Vijaya
.
