Actress Malavika Nair, who has already acted in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalalm films is foraying into Sandalwood with Ganesh’s as yet untitled project, directed Dandupalya fame director Srinivas Raju.
Malavika Nair has acted in films like Taxiwala, Ustad Hotel, Cuckoo, Yevade Subramana and others. The shoot of the movie has already commenced. Malavika is expected to join the sets soon. Another female lead of the movie will be revealed by the team shortly. The makers have kept the character of Malavika Nair under the wraps.
The muhurtha of the film was recently held at a temple in Bengaluru. Actors Sadhu Kokila and Giri Shivanna will be seen in pivotal roles in the film. The combination of Ganesh and Srinivas Raju makes it interesting as Ganesh’s strength lies in romantic comedy films, where as, Srinivas Raju is known for crime drama.
Meanwhile, Ganesh who is yet to have a release this year is awaiting for the release of romantic movie Baanadariyalli which sees him sharing screen space with Reeshma Nanaiah and Rukmini Vasanth. The project is directed by Preetham Gubbi.
In an interview with us, Ganesh, who completed 20 years in the industry, gave the hints of taking up direction yet again.
