Manoranjan’s next is a romantic drama

Not long ago, Manoranjan Ravichandran had announced his intention to play a drug smuggler in

Chillum

, a role for which he bulked up and changed his look. But along the way, the avid badminton player injured himself, which put him out of action for a while and therefore was unable to keep up with his workout schedule.
To make the most of the break he has got, and before he returns to the set of Chillum, Manoranjan has signed up for a new film, a romantic drama called

Prarambha

, which goes on floors during Sankranti. “Directed by newbie Manu, it’s a simple love story. The team is currently on the lookout for a new heroine to be paired with me. The film will be shot across locations in Karnataka,” says Manoranjan.
