Manvitha Kamath to make a foray into Marathi industry

The movie is being helmed by Bengalurean Nanditha Yadav
Ever since Tagaru, Manvitha Kamath has been receiving various offers from other film industries, but it’s a Marathi offer that she has taken up. The film, the

muhurta

of which was held in Mumbai on Wednesday, is being helmed by Bengalurean Nanditha Yadav and is backed by the makers of the Marathi blockbuster, Lei Bhaari.

“Nanditha has watched all my films and was especially impressed by my work in Tagaru. We’ve been in talks for a while and what piqued my interest was that the subject of the film has a similar shade to

Kendasampige

. It is a love story between teenagers and stars newcomer Sumukh, who was part of the same acting workshop with Ishaan Khattar,” shares Manvitha, who will play a spunky lass in the flick. The movie, meanwhile, is about a romance that ensues while the lead pair are on a road trip and will kickstart in Rajasthan and culminate in Mumbai.

“Many senior actors from

Bollywood

and Sandalwood, including Mithun Chakravarthy,

Arun Sagar

and Rajesh Nataranga will be part of the film. Since Nanditha has done theatre with KM Chaitanya during her days in Bengaluru, she’s acquainted with all the talent in the city and has chosen well for our project,” Manvitha signs off.
