Kichcha Sudeep starrer ‘Mark’ was released on the festive day of Christmas and the movie is holding steady numbers at the box office. Latest reports suggest that the movie, on its 10th day, has made over Rs 67 lakh.
As per a report by trade analyst Sacnilk, the movie on Saturday made over Rs 67 lakh according to the latest reports. The movie had a solid opening day as it made over Rs 8.6 crore and later added Rs 3.2 crore each on the next two days. On its 4th day, it made over Rs 3.4 crore. After completing the first weekend run, as expected, the numbers dropped and it collected Rs 1.15 crore on Monday. Later, the entire week, the film only made around a crore. The first week's collection came to Rs 23.15 crore.
Now on Friday, the film made Rs 60 lakh and after Saturday’s collection, the total minted over Rs 24.42 crore.
Early reports from the morning’s collection suggest that the film made Rs 15 lakh with an occupancy of 11.20%.
Theatrical occupancy
Speaking of the film’s theatrical attendance on Saturday, the movie had an overall 18.54% Kannada occupancy on Saturday. The film recorded morning shows at 7.51%. It then later increased to 18.31% in the afternoon. Later in the evening shows further rose to 22.47% and the night shows increased to 25.88%.
About ‘Mark’
Directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa, the movie stars Kichcha Sudeep playing the role of a suspended cop who is in a rush against time to save children. He battles corrupt politicians and other criminals to restore justice. The film also features Naveen Chandra, Yogi Babu, Nishvika Naidu, Guru Somasundaram, and Roshni Prakash in key roles.
