, who work and live together in a market and the two girls in their lives. Here, we present the actors, some of whom are new to cinema, and what they play in the film.

SAHIDEV VIKRAM LAGADAPATI

What he's done so far: His role in the Telugu film Race Gurram shot him to fame, after which he's been in Rudramadevi, Pataas and Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini. Goli Soda is his first Kannada movie.
His character in Goli Soda: Vikram, who is the youngest cast member in the film, plays, 'A kid who is shy when it comes to girls. He's someone you can trust, someone who can make people believe in him,' he says.

SHILAY MANJUNATH

What he's done so far: He's been quite prolific with several Kannada movies and TV serials to his credit. His biggest release so far has been Love in Mandya.
His character in Goli Soda:'I play a character named Dabba, who is very humourous and sentimental. He has a girlfriend, played by Divya,' says Manjunath

HEMANTH S

What he's done so far: He started his career with the TV serials Mahabharatha and Priyadarshini, and then got his start in movies with Preethi Geethi Ityaadi, after which he played a young Yash in Mr and Mrs Ramachari.
His character in Goli Soda: The film, says Hemanth, is about slum dwellers in KR Market, people who are 'very rough and tough and harsh'. 'But in real life, I'm not like that. I'm very smooth and calm, so it was a challenge for me to play someone who is the polar opposite,' he says.

CHANDAN
What he's done so far: He has been very busy in Kannada cinema. In fact, Goli Soda is his 16th film. He is currently busy working on the film, Bill Gates.
His character in Goli Soda: 'I play a character called Chikka, who is the most innocent of the lot.He is so naive that he is often surprised at how certain events play out,' says Chandan, who adds that he and Vikram became close friends off set as well.

DIVYA RANGAYANA

What she's done so far: She's been active with the Mysuru-based theatre group, Rangayana, and makes her film debut with Goli Soda.
Her character in Goli Soda: Divya plays Bhagavathi, who is the central character in the story, and brings about the twist in the tale. She is the 'fifth hero' in the film, says director Raghu Jaya, adding that she even has an action sequence in the film.

PRIYANKA JAIN
What she's done so far: She has done a few minor roles in Kannada films, and Goli Soda is her first as the female lead.
Her character in Goli Soda: She plays Chandini, who, as it turns out is the daughter of the character played by Tara. She is paired with Vikram and provides a romantic angle to the film.
