Miss Diva contestant all set to debut in Kannada films

The upcoming film, Ombatthane Adbutha, will see the introduction of another model in the

Kannada

film industry. Nayana Sai, who has participated in several beauty pageants and even represented India in one, was also part of the

Miss Diva

contest.

“Director Santosh Kumar Batageri approached me after he saw me at one of the pageants. My character is that of a sweet and bubbly college-going girl; she is a rich girl who falls in love with an ordinary boy. What appealed to me was the script and the scope for my character in the film,” says Nayana, who is currently pursuing her final year BBA at a Bengaluru college.

The film has three stories, says Nayana, and one of them is centered on her.
