Theatre actor-turned-Sandalwood hero Monish Nagaraj is excited about his film Money Honey Shani (MHS) that has released today. The movie with an unusual title is directed by Rajesh Murthy. The film has actors Monish Nagaraj,
Bhavana Rao, Kanchan Ramaprasad, RJ Prithvi and
Vasu Dixit in lead roles. Going by what the director says MHS is a romantic comedy. Ask Monish if he is nervous about the audience reaction and he says, "I am not feeling anything actually! Unlike stage, where you will be all charged up before you enter, this feels more relaxed and fun. It gives an opportunity to watch it like an audience, which I am looking forward too. I guess I feel this way due to my stage background."
Talking about his role, he says, "I play a loverboy, who is dumped and is helplessly looking for his lost love and falls in love with another sweet girl, who is also been dumped. Then the girl who has dumped me returns and problems start." He further adds, "That is one perspective of the film. As it progresses, the girl's point of view is shown. It is a pretty experimental screenplay. We hope audiences like it."
The film also marks the debut of RJ Prithvi and singer and lead man of the band Swarathma, Vasu Dixit. The film released today only in multiplexes.
